Vacant Position – Multimedia Officer
MRDC is seeking a talented and experienced Multimedia Officer to join our Communications Team. As our Multimedia Officer, you will be responsible for creating, designing, and managing a wide range of engaging digital content, including text, audio, video, graphics, and interactive elements, all aligned with MRDC’s Communications Strategy. You will also play a key role in curating branding and style guidelines for MRDC’s social media platforms and website.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality multimedia content (graphics, videos, animations) that effectively communicates MRDC’s message.
- Develop and maintain branding, style guides, and visual consistency across all media platforms.
- Create impactful visual materials that shape public perception and support MRDC’s communication objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve multimedia content quality.
- Utilize advanced skills in video editing, animation, photography, and videography for content creation and event coverage.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exhibit problem-solving skills and adaptability in overcoming creative and technical challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders, showcasing excellent communication skills.
- Interpret creative briefs and ensure content aligns seamlessly with MRDC’s brand vision.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and adapt designs to meet evolving project needs.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work, even under pressure.
Requirement:
- Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Certifications in digital software, photography, videography, or related areas are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, multimedia production, or corporate communications.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Blender, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Basic knowledge of WordPress is a plus.
- Experience in branding, public outreach, and media engagement.
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative work and design versatility.
- Expertise in producing videos, animations, digital graphics, and promotional materials.
- Strong photography skills, including expertise in composition, lighting, and post-processing.
- Ability to tell compelling stories through video, graphics, and interactive content.
